Sara began her career in public accounting working in M&A, business development, and tax in Augusta, Georgia. She moved to Greenville, South Carolina, for an audit position with a larger public accounting firm with an emphasis in real estate, healthcare, and not-for-profits. There, she worked in tandem with her team to complete audit projects and issue related reports to company shareholders.
Before joining the Longbranch team, Sara transitioned into an industry-based role as an internal auditor for an international public engineering construction firm, where she worked on audits of projects executed by the company. During this time, she worked on supply chain, project business services, project controls, and SOX compliance for various projects in the infrastructure, nuclear and civil, and energy solutions industries.
Sara is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of South Carolina. She holds a Master of Accountancy with an emphasis in Business Analytics from The University of South Carolina Moore School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Augusta University.
